They expressed sadness over the resurgence of violence, which has disrupted the city’s peace, and urged the parties to remember and honor their historic past that once made Warri a great place to live. The group’s appeal comes amid growing concerns over the weekend’s clash between Itsekiri and Urhobo youths in Warri South Local Government Area. Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has also appealed for calm, restraint, and peaceful coexistence among stakeholders, emphasizing the importance of peace for economic growth and development initiatives in Warri ².
