The Isoko Development Union (IDU-Youth Wing), led by Comr Joel Emeni Ifoghale, has officially endorsed Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas for a second term in 2027.
The declaration was made at a meeting attended by youth executives, key stakeholders, clan mayors, representatives, and women leaders at the Isoko House, Oleh.
According to Comr Ifoghale the endorsement aligns with the Isoko nation’s earlier position, as led by the parent body, the Isoko Development Union (IDU).
He said the move signals a united front across all strata of Isoko leadership, bolstering Senator Thomas’ re-election bid for the Delta South Senatorial District seat.
Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, also known as JOT, is a Nigerian chartered accountant, businessman, and politician.
He’s the current senator representing Delta South Senatorial District in the 10th assembly under the All Progressive Congress (APC).
