Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has made it clear that his administration prioritizes delivering quality projects that benefit the people, regardless of personal relationships. He emphasized that competence, integrity, and value for money are crucial to his administration’s M.O.R.E Agenda.

He said this during an inspection of multiple projects in Asaba, Governor Oborevwori stressed that he won’t compromise on quality jobs for the sake of friendship. He noted that some indigenous contractors are causing problems by not delivering quality work, and warned that those who fail to meet standards will be blacklisted.

The governor’s focus is on serving the people of Delta, not just a select few. He encouraged contractors to do good work, assuring them that his administration will support those who deliver quality projects.

Governor Oborevwori also addressed requests for upward review of projects, explaining that rates have increased significantly since his administration took office. He assured that his team will review projects awarded in 2022 and early 2023, but emphasized that quality work is essential.
