Gov Oborevwori praised Mrs. Esther Ahon on her 100th birthday, calling her an embodiment of calmness, kindness, discipline, and exemplary motherhood.
He said the centenarian’s life of dignity, humility, and moral rectitude inspires present and future generations

Oborevwori said Mrs. Ahon, Mother of his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, is celebrated for her values, family commitment, and community contributions, beyond just reaching 100.
Oborevwori reaffirmed his admin’s commitment to respecting senior citizens and upholding their dignity and welfare.

Governor Oborevwori said the title “Okpakorere” (revered elder) is the most revered, saying it’s divinely conferred, not achieved through contest or ambition.
Earlier, Venerable Oghomena Diakeleho-Edjere described the celebrant as a devout, God-fearing woman with exemplary commitment to the church.
He praised her punctuality, consistency, and church dedication, calling her a “living legend” who’s being celebrated in her lifetime.
The cleric prayed for the centenarian’s continued strength and urged others to emulate her faith, service, and devotion.

In a vote of thanks, Mr. Moses Ahon thanked God for the milestone and said their mum, the Ahon family matriarch, is the first in the family to hit 100.
He called it a moment of immense pride and joy for the Ahon family and the community.
He thanked dignitaries and well-wishers, notably government officials, royal fathers, and industry leaders, for gracing the occasion.
The centenary celebration featured solemn thanksgiving, heartfelt prayers, and glowing tributes to a life widely regarded as impactful and inspiring.

The service was followed by a vibrant reception where the centenarian, surrounded by loved ones, joyfully cut her birthday cake, wrapping up the celebration .
