Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved financial assistance for 533 indigenes of the state who graduated from the Nigerian Law School in the 2025 session.

The approval was disclosed by the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board in a public notice published in _The Pointer_ newspaper on Thursday.

According to the Board, the intervention is part of the state government’s efforts to support human capital development and ease the financial burden on young professionals.

The Board said all 533 beneficiaries are of Delta origin and are required to submit relevant documents electronically between *July 23 and July 29, 2026* to facilitate disbursement.

Documents to be submitted include the Nigerian Law School admission letter, Call to Bar certificate, valid means of identification, Local Government identification, and bank account details.

Beneficiaries have been directed to scan and send the documents to the Board’s official email address: dsbb@deltastate.gov.ng within the stipulated period.

In the notice signed by the Executive Secretary, Dr. Godfrey Enita, the Board urged all eligible graduates to comply promptly to avoid delays in processing.

The Board noted that the gesture underscores the Oborevwori administration’s commitment to education and youth empowerment under the MORE Agenda.

It added that the financial relief is expected to support newly qualified legal practitioners as they commence their careers.

For further enquiries, beneficiaries were advised to contact the Board’s designated official, Otogie Godspower, on *07037429816*.
