The Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF) is gearing up to commemorate the 2026 International Women’s Day (IWD) in Delta State and is calling for strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
The event will take place on March 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at No. 12 Uchenna Okolo Street, Asaba, with Mrs. Patricia Gbemudu, Former Chairperson of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), as the Keynote Speaker.
This year’s theme is “Give to Gain: Empowering Women through Digital Storytelling,” aligning with the global theme “Give To Gain” and the message “When we give, we gain.”
The campaign promotes generosity, collaboration, and support for women’s advancement.
The event will feature an Impact Conference, recognition of outstanding women and nonprofit organizations, media advocacy campaigns, and public engagement initiatives.
DOPF aims to empower women, support women-focused nonprofits, and challenge stereotypes and discrimination.
The forum emphasizes that broader participation will inspire a culture of giving and support for women’s advancement, saying “When women rise, society rises
