The women of Isoko North have pledged to back Engr Ashakah Orobosa bid to represent them in the Delta State House of Assembly come 2027.

As consultation for the position heat up, Engr. Ashakah is getting solid backing from different groups and party bigwigs.

Mrs Afor Ilaya who is leading the women’s support team says they have picked 1,300 volunteers across all 13 wards in Isoko North.

She explained that the said volunteers will drive support for Engr. Orobosa Ashakah, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and President Bola Tinubu.

Ilaya says the women are all in for Ashakah, aiming for an APC primary win and a general election victory as they are prepared to back him and anyone he supports.

Leader of the support team stressed that Isoko North women need to unite behind Ashakah to enable him continue with his numerous empowerment programmes across the Local Government Council Areas.

“The group won’t rest till he wins, it is of Isoko North’s best interest. The women’s support shows Ashakah’sgot what it takes to represent them well.” She explained.

One of the women present, Mrs Christiana Uloho noted that his leadership skills and vision for the area are reasons for massive support from the women.

The 2027 elections are indeed looking like a big deal for the APC in Isoko North, with Ashakah’s campaign picking up steam.

The women’s support is a major boost, and it’s clear they’re committed to his success.

On his part, the vying aspirant , Engr. Orobosa Ashakah says he is grateful for their backing adding that their gesture will further motivate him to do more for Isoko North

He says he is also rallying behind President Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s re-election bid, emphasizing the “Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda.
