The Commissioner for Riverine Infrastructure Development, Chief Ebikeme Clark, has reaffirmed Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s commitment to developing riverine communities in Delta State.
Chief Clark made this statement during an inspection tour of ongoing projects in Warri North and Warri South-West LGAs.
Project inspected include:
– 3.1km road linking Kolokolo and Tisun communities in Warri North LGA
– Oporoza Model Secondary School in Warri South-West LGA


Challenges and Progress:
– Difficult terrain, but contractor making good progress
– Project expected to be completed within 12 months (awarded in Sept 2025)

– Community leaders express gratitude and pledge support for Oborevwori’s administration
– Projects described as most significant development interventions in communities
Chief Clark noted that Oborevwori administration is determined to deliver infrastructure to riverine areas
He asked that there would be no compromise on project quality and standards
The inspection tour highlights the government’s efforts to bridge infrastructural gaps and promote balanced development in Delta State.
