Chief Itiako Ikpokpo who is vying for Delta South Senatorial seat in the Red Chamber and his CLUE agenda campaign team recently met with leaders and people of Isoko Nation to dive deeper into his CLUE agenda plan.

Chief Ikpokpo popularly known as Malik who is promising quality representation explained the CLUE agenda in detail.

The C stands for Communication. The aspiring Senator promised to ensure adequate engagement with his constituents after election by reporting activities of every Senate sitting to his people back home.

Chief Ikpokpo who noted that representation without feedback is not representation promised to hold regular Town halls meetings in the designated places to get everyone informed about any sponsored bill and its impact on their community.

The L stands for LEGISLATE which means proposing Laws that bring development back home.

He noted that he will ensure funds from federal meant for projects in the Niger Delta region development are protected and actually used for the purpose on time.

Chief Ikpokpo explained that he will push for motions on completing the East-West Road and Warri Port dredging, and education bills funding technical schools in our LGAs.

The U stands for UNITE: One Voice, Stronger Bargaining Power while explaining that he would bridge any seemingly gap between the Ijaws, Isokos and Itsekiris.

The Delta South Senatorial seat aspirant warned against divided Delta South as it attract being ignored in budget debates.

The E stands for Empower. He stated that Empowerment opportunities will be tangible and impactful. “Empowerment is not just photos with starter packs but access. Constituency projects will fund permanent skills centers in each federal constituency. Support for women traders in major markets and Structured grants.

He added that he would make sure mentorship for youth building businesses in tech, fisheries, oil services, and creative work will be well structured out. “If our people are already hustling, government should remove roadblocks, not just give handouts” he stated.

Chief Ikpokpo emphatically stated that this is not a promise for 2027 but a plan that is on the verge of commencement “For too long, the distance between Abuja and Delta South has been more than geography. It has been silence. Projects approved but not delivered. Decisions taken without explanation. Our graduates building lives outside the state because opportunity stayed behind”.he claimed.

 

Chief Itiako Ikpokpo team believes Delta South deserves a Senator who stays close, speaks up, and brings results home which is why they endorsed him, claiming he understands that assignment.
