Rt. Hon. Dr. Ossai Nicholas Ossai, a former three-term federal lawmaker representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency, has been appointed Chairman of the 12th-anniversary celebration of Ndokwa Reporters and the inaugural Bel Media Dialogue.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Top View Hotel in Asaba, Delta State, starting at 11:00 a.m.

This milestone event not only commemorates 12 years of impactful community-focused journalism by Ndokwa Reporters but also introduces the Bel Dialogue, a platform designed to foster informed public engagement.

The inaugural dialogue will focus on the theme “Development or Displacement: Understanding the Cost of Unregulated Land Acquisition in Our Communities – The Role of Government and Traditional Institutions in Safeguarding Community Lands.”

– *Godfrey Chukwudifu Osakwe*: Chartered PR practitioner and environmental advocate
– *Barr. Thomas Otunuya Anigara*: Lawyer, journalist, and traditional leader
– *Chief Monday Ogheneruona Itoghor*: Environmentalist and NGO leader
– *Tpl. Oguafor Innocent Ifeanyi*: Chartered town planner and environmental management expert
– *Odih Christian Udoka*: Community development advocate
– *ESV. Mike Mbagwu*: Registered estate surveyor and valuer
– *Barr. Ngozi Chukura*: Principal counsel of Ngozi Chukura & Co
– *Joy Anthonia Ochei*: Media personality and broadcasting professional (Moderator)

The Bel Dialogue aims to provide a platform for robust exchanges, audience participation, and contributions from various stakeholders, including government officials, lawmakers, traditional leaders, business executives, civil society actors, and the media. The goal is to strengthen policy discourse and safeguard community interests.

According to Emmanuel Enebeli, President/CEO of Bel Media and Publisher of Ndokwa Reporters, the launch of Bel Dialogue marks a new chapter in promoting inclusive, solution-driven conversations that will shape development in the state and beyond
