Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has achieved significant milestones in 19 months, according to Commissioner for Works Charles Aniagwu.

Despite criticisms, Oborevwori remains focused on governance, prioritizing projects that benefit Deltans.

Some notable achievements include:

– *Road Infrastructure*: Completion of inherited projects like the Okpanam-Ibusa bypass, Beneku bridge, and Asaba/Ughelli dual carriageway. New projects are also underway, such as the three flyover bridges and road expansion works in Warri and Effurun.
– *Education*: Establishment of a campus of the Southern Delta State University in Orerokpe and introduction of a College of Health Sciences at the institution’s main campus in Ozoro.
– *Healthcare*: Upgrades to facilities in general hospitals and over 150 primary healthcare centers, as well as substantial funding for Colleges of Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Technology.
– *Housing*: Construction of 50 housing units in Ozoro, Kwale, and Owa-Oyibu, with plans for additional duplexes to accommodate commissioners.
– *Economic Diversification*: A deal with UTM LNG to harness natural gas reserves in the state.
– *Fiscal Discipline*: Payment of over N200 billion to liquidate the state’s debt stock and efficient resource allocation for new projects
