Sheriff Oborevwori appoints Festus Ahon as CPS

Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has approved the appointment of a Delta Based Journalist, Knight Festus  Ahon as his Chief Press Secretary (CPS).

The approval which was contained  a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Government House Administration, Sir Eddy Ogidi-Gbegbaje on Monday is with immediate effect.

Knight Ahon, who until his appointment was a senior Correspondent of the Vanguard Newspapers in Delta State is  a well well respected Journalist with high level of dedication to his job.

Ahon  is currently occupies the position of National Ex-Officio at National Executive Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalist was the founding chairman of the NUJ Ughelli Correspondent Chapel.

He was also the Chairman of INEC Press Corp (IPC) in Delta State for the conduct of 2023 general elections.

The newly appointed CPS is an active community developer .

hails he hails from  Government Area of Delta State and he is happily married with children
