“PDP, Nigerians to ensure every vote counts”- Funkekeme Solomon

Delta State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Campaign Council says Deltans and Nigerians have expressed determination to ensure that every vote counts for the party ahead of the General Elections

Director General of the Delta State PDP Campaign Council, Honourable Funkekeme Solomon stated `this while addressing Journalists, on the progress of the PDP campaign council so far, at the PDP campaign office in Asaba.

He said the State PDP in a bid to ensure it preached the message of rescue, Reset and Rebuild Nigeria as well as advancing the State, had successfully visited all 270 wards in the State, an endeavour to reach the grassroots

He explained that after the ward to ward campaigns, the campaign council embarked on the local Government campaigns traversing the local Government Areas, with a total of 23 local Government Areas of the State visited so far.

The State PDP Campaign Director General said the State Governor and Vice Presidential candidate of the PDP, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa was with the campaign team all through the Local Government campaigns, where Deltans expressed eagerness and enthusiasm to vote for all the party’s candidates in the next month’s election.

Honourable Solomon said Nigerians are eager to vote for the PDP for a change adding that the PDP would address insecurity, rising hunger and poverty,

Honourable Solomon said Nigerians are eager to vote for the POP for a change.

He said that the PDP would insecurity, rising hunger and poverty, huge debts prostrate education, acutely exemplified by long closure of tertiary institutions abysmal state of the Federal roads across the Country.

Honourable Solomon noted that the M.O.RE agenda by the party’s Governorship candidate which had a comprehensive and well- articulated package for Meaningful Opportunities for all, Realistic Reforms, and Enhanced Peace and security for the state, would continue the developmental strides of Governor Okowa’s led administration.

He debunked claims that the PDP had suffered mass defection in recent times, adding that the party was focused on its mission to rescue Nigeria, as the Presidential candidate, AlhajiAtikuAbubakar prepares to visit Delta State on Tuesday, January 24, 2023
