Deputy Senate President and the governorship candidate of the Delta State All Progressive Congress, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has appointed a former Press Secretary and Senior Special Assistant to former Governors of Delta State, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, Sir Sunny Oghenejiro Areh, as his Chief Press Secretary.

Senator Omo-Agege who said Areh’s appointment takes immediate effect explained that it will enhance his moves to build a New Delta with good governance agenda .

The APC presidential candidate said he is preparing to take over the reins of government in Delta State, adding that Sir Areh’s wide and penetrative reach in the media world will be an added advantage.

Sir Sunny Areh is a veteran in political and Crisis Communication, He was Press Secretary and Senior Special Assistant to former Governors of Delta State, Chief James
Onanefe Ibori and Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, respectively.

Before his involvement in political communication, Sunny Areh was the title Editor with the Vanguard, National Interest and Thisday newspapers.
