A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Lady Patience Echero has commended the first lady of Delta State, Mrs. Tobore Oborevwori for her visit to Evwreni, in Ughelli North Local government of Delta State to sensitise women and girls on menstrual hygiene.
Lady Echero who made the call at Evwreni Town while addressing a cross-section of Evwreni women during the campaign exercise.
She explained that the initiative will make life meaningful for Delta women and children as hygiene is a key factor that must be considered in promoting healthy living
She thanked Delta State women for being resolute and firm in their decision to support the M.O.R.E AGENDA programme of the State.
The PDP Chieftain, a grassroots mobilizer from Ethiope East LGA assured the first Lady the full support of Ethiope East women towards the her programmes as well as the newly launched pet project,You Matter Foundation initiative .
Earlier, The first Lady during the he campaign distributed sanitary materials to women and girls and held a menstrual hygiene talk: important tips on cleanliness and proper disposal methods
Echero however called on Deltans across the 25 LGA to support the state’s M.O.R.E AGENDA programme to enable the present administration achieve it’s goals for the people of the state adding that the aims and objectives of the agenda would make life meaningful for Deltans as it help to provide infrastructural and human capital development.
