The Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Blessing Agbebaku, has issued a statement mourning the loss of Brigadier General O.O. Braimah, a gallant son of Owan Nation who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to Nigeria.

According to Speaker Agbebaku, Braimah stood as a shield for the nation and a symbol of courage for future generations. He further stated that Braimah’s dedication to duty and his country is a shining example of patriotism and selflessness.

The statement added that throughout his illustrious career, Braimah demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and unwavering commitment to the Nigerian Army’s values.

Speaker Agbebaku highlighted the profound impact of Braimah’s loss on the people of Owan Nation, Edo State, and Nigeria, saying, “His passing is a deep wound that will be felt for generations to come.”

The Edo State House of Assembly and the people of Owan Nation join the Nigerian Army and the nation in mourning the loss of this brave and selfless leader.

Rt. Hon. Speaker Agbebaku extends heartfelt condolences to Braimah’s family, the Nigerian Armed Forces, and all who mourn this hero, praying that the Almighty grant his soul eternal rest and give all strength to bear the irreparable loss.
