As Nigerians await the swearing-in of the president-elect, Alhaji Ahmed Bola Tinubu on the 29th of May 2023, a group under the aegis of “Niger Delta Force (NDF)” has called on Nigerians to be more united.
According to the group, the emergence of BolaTinubu is a testament needed by Nigerians in such a time when the country needs total restructuring.
This was made by the National Coordinator of Niger Delta Force, Comrade Ufuoma Eroghe at Ughelli, the administrative headquarters of Ughelli North local government area of Delta State while addressing Journalists
Eroghe who after the meeting disclosed the readiness of the NDF to partner Federal Government to bring issues of unrest that has plaque the oil-bearing region of the Niger Delta to a thing of past said the emergence of Bola Tiinubu as President elect is a good omen to the country’s nascent democracy in the recent time
The group further explained that the nick name ‘JAGABA’ of which President elect is usually referred to has been replaced with ‘JAGANISE’ which implies unity and oneness of the country.
The group Boss said, the decision of the NDF to modify his nick name from “JAGABAN to JAGANISE” was precipitated by the general overwhelming acceptance of the president-elect in the last presidential poll in the country as he said Tinubu won the election with the votes of the majority of Nigerians who came out en mass to cast their vote for him.
The group stated that the reign of Tinubu will bring in a true federalism system of government and the needed unity Nigerians have been yearning.
