The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ethiope East Local Government Area, Chief Midwest Iboyitete spearheaded a high-level delegation of party executives on a planned courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ethiope East LGA, Chief Augustine Ogedegbe at the council secretariat in Isiokolo.

The visit, strategically scheduled for Friday, was designed to forge a stronger alliance between the party leadership and the local government administration, thereby fostering an atmosphere of unity and cooperation in anticipation of forthcoming political activities.
During the meeting, Iboyitete eloquently articulated the primary objective of the visit, emphasizing the party’s unwavering commitment to supporting Ogedegbe’s administration and aligning with the council’s ambitious developmental goals.

He lauded Ogedegbe’s recently concluded empowerment programs, which had a profound impact on grassroots development, describing them as “impactful and beneficial” to the local community.
Iboyitete underscored the APC executives’ resolve to work in tandem with the local government administration to drive progress and prosperity in Ethiope East LGA. “We are here today with the executives of our great party (APC) to familiarize ourselves with you as the Executive Chairman of Ethiope East Local Government. This visit underscores our readiness to work closely with your administration in the interest of our people,” Iboyitete declared.
Iboyitete, also commended Ogedegbe for the recent empowerment programme carried out across the local government, describing it as impactful and beneficial to grassroots development.
He expressed appreciation for the chairman’s efforts in improving the welfare of residents and strengthening the party’s presence in the area.
In response, the Executive Chairman of the Ethiope East Local government Council, Chief Augustine Ogedegbe warmly welcomed the APC executives, congratulating them on their emergence as leaders of the party at the local government level.

He stressed the imperative of unity, dedication, and strategic mobilization in achieving the party’s objectives, emphasizing that collective effort was crucial in delivering electoral victories for the party in future elections.
Ogedegbe specifically enjoined the executives to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and all APC candidates, ensuring their success at the polls.
He urged the executives to remain committed, proactive, and responsive to the needs of the party and the community.
The meeting concluded on a resoundingly positive note, with both parties reaffirming their commitment to unity, grassroots engagement, and sustained development across Ethiope East Local Government Area.
