In a grand and resplendent ceremony, HRM Oboro-Gbaraun II JP, Aketekpe, Agadagba, the revered Pere of the Ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, conferred the esteemed title of ‘Ibetariwei’ on Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District, Joel- Onowakpo Thomas, marking a momentous occasion during the annual Amaseikumor Festival.

The event, held at Oporoza Town, the traditional headquarters of Gbaramatu Kingdom, was a vibrant celebration of excellence in leadership and representation, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Izon nation
