Suspected terrorists abducted an unspecified number of traders travelling along the Kaduna- Birnin Gwari Road
According to The Federal Capital Territory(FCT) Police Command spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, the officers in the area are combing the bush for the attackers and the abductees.
Though she did not confirm the number of persons abducted, a resident of the area, who wishes to be anonymous, says children and a woman are among those taken away by the attackers.
The resident confirmed that the incident happened in the early hours of Saturday.
The police image maker in the Federal FCT urged residents of the area not to panic and help the police with credible information that could lead to the arrest of the assailants.
