The Assistant Director of the National Diaspora Directorate of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, Elsie Ijorogu Reed recently went on public display of projects of the Vice Presidential Candidate of All Progressive Congress, APC, Senator Kashim Shettima while she dares the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Vice Presidential Candidate, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa to showcase his achievement in his state.

According to her, it has become necessary for candidates to display their dividend of democracy to the people to further prove to Nigerians their capabilities.

She said this will enable electorate  to be acquitted with their antecedents and sieve the shaft from the wheat.

Ijorogu Reel who explained that good governance relates to the political and institutional processes and outcomes that are necessary to achieve the goals of development said the true test of ‘good’ governance is the degree to which it delivers on the promise of human rights: civil, cultural, economic, political and social rights.

She said the key question is: are the institutions of governance effectively guaranteeing the right to health, adequate housing, sufficient food, quality education, fair justice and personal security?

“In agreement to the true test of good governance, I wish to inform you that Senator Kashim Shettima delivered to his people in various ways but I would want to limit it to health in this publication” she said.

The Assistant Director of the National Diaspora Directorate of the Campaign Council  who referred to Kashim Shettima as the “Golden Boy of Africa” named his contributions to the health sector when he was a Governor of Borno State.

His administration constructed the following:

  • Seven General Hospital- All the Hospitals are Storey building with Ultra modern facilities.
  • General Hospital 100 Beds capacity health facility built and equipped in Gajiram Nganzai Local Government Area of Borno State.
  • General Hospital Baga Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State.
  • General Hospital 100 Beds capacity health facility built and equipped in Ngamdu Kaga local government area of Borno State.
  • General Hospital 100 Beds capacity health facility built and equipped in Hawul Local Government Area of Borno State.
  • General Hospital 100 Beds capacity health facility built and equipped in Bargu, Shani Local Government Area of Borno State.
  • Brig Abba Kyari General Hospital Maiduguri, 100 Beds capacity health facility built and equipped, located in Bolori 2 Ngarannam 7up area.

“Please Show me the  Achievement of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP vice Presidential Candidate, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa in the health sectors in Delta State for the past seven years as a Governor” she Dares delta State government.

Ijorogu Reed who called on Nigerians to support the All Progress Congress, APC Presidential ticket come 2023 general elections emphasised that voting for the candidates that will deliver dividend of democracy is paramount in the forthcoming elections.
