All Progressives Congress chieftain in Delta State, Professor Rukevwe Ugwumba has said the just concluded Gubernatorial election in Delta State was characterized by manipulation.

Olorogun Ugwumba who said that the Nigeria democracy is fragile and young , and Nigeria particularly Delta State still have a long way to go in politics.

The APC chieftain who alleged that the party’s mandate has been stolen by the People’s Democratic Party, PDP is optimistic that the Delta State All Progressives Congress will recover it’s mandate and Senator Ovie Omo Agege will be sworn in as the Delta State Governor

She places her confidence on the BVAS technology which she believes will help to expose the election manipulation that occurred on Saturday in the state.

“It is clear that the election was manipulated. We do not believe the election result as concluded by INEC.”she stared.

“Ours is still a fragile and young democracy. We have come a long way, yet we still have a long way to go,” she lamented.

“We will recover our stolen mandate in court, and i know that the BVAS technology will help prove that the election was rigged and our victory is assured,” she said.

Olorogun Ugwumba however appealed to Supporters of All Progressives Congress to stay calm and be law abiding citizens as the case will definitely get to it’s ogical conclusion
