JAMB Bans 23 CBT Centres for Failing to Meet Standards

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has taken a significant step to ensure the integrity of its examination processes by delisting 23 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres across Nigeria.

This decision follows an internal review of the 2026 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which revealed technical deficiencies and non-compliance with expected standards at these centres.

The delisted centres are spread across multiple states, including Abia, Anambra, Bayelsa, Osun, Ogun, Delta, Edo, Lagos, Oyo, Plateau, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). A detailed list of the affected centres includes:

1. Micben Seat of Wisdom Academy ICT       Hall, Ukwa West, Abia state
2. Bishop Crowther Seminary CBT Centre,  Awka
3. The Oracle Lens, Nnokwa, Anambra state
4. Derby’s Young ICT Centre, Yenagoa, Bayelsa
5. Avid ICT Solutions CBT Centre, Asaba
6. Brightfield School CBT Centre, Ekpan, Asaba
7. Conarina Maritime Academy, Abraka, Delta
8. Daniet Global Resources, Benin City
9. Moses and Grace College of Health Sciences and Technology CBT Centre, Benin City
10. De-Lite CBT Centre, Maitama
11. Zulqad Consult Ltd CBT Centre, Lugbe, Lagos
12. Florin High School CBT Centre, Ejigbo
13. Folbob CBT Centre, Ibeju-Lekki
14. Great Kezino College CBT Centre, Ikorodu
15. Obans CBT Centre, Ikorodu
16. Teesas Learning and CBT Centre, Lekki
17. Braingate Model Schools CBT Centre, Arepo
18. Greenhills Academy CBT Centre, Itele, Ogun
19. Oduduwa University CBT Centre, Ile-Ife
20. Lasting Glory Schools CBT Centre, Ibadan
21. Nesam International School CBT Centre, Ibadan
22. SAF Polytechnic CBT Centre, Iseyin
23. Rabjib Computer Academy, Jos

Additionally, Ha-shem Academy, Yaba, Lagos, has been barred from participating in any JAMB examinations due to severe non-compliance.

*Reasons for Delisting:*

JAMB has also issued warnings to several other CBT centres with minor technical issues, urging them to address the shortcomings ahead of the main examination.

These centres are located in states such as Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Benue, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Enugu, Imo, Kaduna, Kano, Kogi, Kwara, Ogun, Lagos, Nassarawa, Niger, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Taraba, and the FCT.

The affected centres have been advised to take immediate corrective action to ensure they meet the required standards. JAMB has emphasized its commitment to maintaining the integrity of its examination processes, ensuring only compliant centres participate in the main UTME exercise.

*Measures to Ensure Exam Integrity:*

1. Regular monitoring and evaluation of CBT centres
2. Strict adherence to technical standards and guidelines
3. Enhanced security measures to prevent malpractice
4. Training and capacity-building programs for CBT centre staff
5. Collaboration with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance

JAMB has assured candidates and stakeholders that it will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the integrity and credibility of its examinations.
