The Ashakah Uzuazomaro Orobosa Campaign Organization has issued a stern statement debunking rumors that their principal, Ashakah Maro Orobosa, has withdrawn from the Delta State House of Assembly race for Isoko North.
The organization describes the claim as “completely false, baseless, and without any merit”, attributing it to malicious individuals seeking to undermine their campaign.
This was contained in a signed statement by his Ag. Director of Media & Communication Alfred Okpure .
According to the statement, Orobosa has not received any calls or communications from “Asaba” or any other individual or group suggesting he should step down.
The campaign team emphasizes that stepping down has never been discussed or considered, and Orobosa remains fully committed to delivering effective, people-centered representation to Isoko North in 2027.
The organization highlights their campaign’s focus on integrity, respect, and progress, and expresses disappointment at attempts to spread misinformation.
They urge supporters, stakeholders, and the public to disregard the rumor and remain focused on their collective pursuit of credible leadership and meaningful representation.
